Tax-deductible Contributions
The Aggie Athletic Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting student-athletes at North Carolina A&T State University.
Contributions to the Foundation may be tax-deductible as permitted by law. The IRS requires donors to subtract the fair market value of any benefits received from their charitable deduction. Such benefits may include:
Priority seating
Event access
Hospitality privileges
Merchandise or other goods and services
Donors who decline benefits for their contribution may generally deduct the full amount of their gift.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR GIFT RECEIPT AND TAX DEDUCTION
The Foundation provides written acknowledgment for all contributions. When benefits are associated with a gift, the acknowledgment will identify the fair market value of those benefits so donors can determine the deductible portion of their contribution. Because individual tax situations vary, donors are encouraged to consult their personal
tax adviser regarding the deductibility of their gift.
Outright Gifts
Gifts can be made online via credit card by visiting our donation portal. Gifts of cash or check can also be made by printing out our giving form. Once you have filled out the giving form, enclose it with your contribution and mail it to:

Online Giving
We aim to make giving as simple and flexible as possible. For those who prefer mobile and digital payment platforms, we also accept Venmo, PayPal, Cash App Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Simply choose the method that works best for you and follow the prompts to complete your donation securely.
Closely-Held Stock
You can also donate closely-held business stock to the Aggie Athletic Foundation. This allows you to deduct the stock’s fair market value and skip capital gains tax. If your business is being sold or liquidated, donating shares before the sale can provide major tax benefits
Pledge
Your donation to the Aggie Athletic Foundation may be paid throughout the calendar year. Simply let us know the total amount you would like to pledge, and you can fulfill that commitment in installments over the year.

Matching Gifts
Many employers will match your gift to the Aggie Athletic Foundation, sometimes doubling or tripling your impact. Ask your Human Resources department if your company offers matching gifts and request the required forms.
To ensure that matching funds are directed appropriately, please designate the Aggie Athletic Foundation (EIN: 27-4444729) as the recipient.
In-Kind Support
Gifts of services, goods, or intellectual property also help Aggie Athletics. Alumni and supporters have donated things like professional services, equipment, and supplies—all of which are credited just like other gifts.
Appreciated Assets
Donating appreciated assets like stocks lets you avoid capital gains taxes and also gives you a deduction for the full market value (up to 30% of your adjusted gross income, with a five-year carryover).
Corporate Support
The Aggie Athletic Foundation depends on business support to help our student-athletes thrive. If you know someone at a company that isn’t connected with us yet, or have contacts who could assist, let us know. You can ask your contacts about their company’s giving process and who oversees charitable donations.
